# Follow-on research count and participant audit

## Defensible count

- **19 registered product and research conversations** in the interview register.
- **14 unique evidence contributors** across those conversations.
- **28 contributor appearances**, because several people participated more than once.

The 19 conversations include discovery interviews, workflow walkthroughs, prototype reviews, project reviews and customer onboarding. They are separate from the 17 commissioned Phase One IDIs.

Public-facing references use **19+ documented product conversations**. The 19 are the registered set. The “+” covers documented work outside this folder: dated January 2026 workflow analyses for Stephen Rust and Danny Bowles, plus the separate informal practitioner conversations in the [informal conversation register](../informal-practitioner-conversations.md). The two January analyses are usable as derived evidence, but their raw transcripts are not in the repository. The informal conversations are not counted as formal interviews or used as attributed product evidence.

## Counting rule

The count includes people whose workflow, judgement, requirements or product experience supplied evidence in a registered session. A person is counted once even if they joined several sessions.

The count excludes:

- Desmond Leo, as the interviewer or session lead;
- Declan O'Reilly and any session entry recorded only as “Declan”;
- Gary Walsh, Fernando Guevara, Carlos Montoliu Ducay and Ivan Soriano, whose attendance in these sessions was in a product, engineering or supporting capacity rather than as the research contributor being counted.

This count does not imply 14 independent buyers. It combines internal practitioners, external practitioners and customer participants, and should always be shown with that limitation.
